Donna Meacham, CPA
Owner/Principal Accountant
A Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of North Carolina, Donna has enjoyed a 30+ year career working in positions of Controller and Chief Financial Officer of privately held companies. Her experience includes companies with revenues ranging from $2 Million to in excess of $100 Million. Industry concentration is in Healthcare, Construction, and Legal.
Donna has worked with companies in Mergers and Acquisitions as well as new start-ups. Following the completion of the acquisitions, she was instrumental in merging the companies finance departments into a solid accounting team. She focused on maximizing cash flow, financial reporting, obtaining financing, budgeting and forecasting, as well as preparing the companies for their annual audit and tax preparation.
Having expertise in Healthcare industry, Donna is fluent in the area of healthcare billing. She understands the role and importance of contract negotiations as it relates to insurance reimbursement. Understanding Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement has enabled her to increase revenue for her healthcare clients through proper coding techniques and appeals process. She has assisted a healthcare company through the Medicare audit appeals process including a hearing with the Administrative Law Judge reducing the client’s liability from $2.4M to $250K. During her tenure working with hospitals, she was able to recover in excess of $2 million of bad debt through workflow revamping and system modifications.
Donna’s experience includes oversight of Human Resource, Billing, and IT departments. She has provided guidance on selection and implementation of several EPM & EMR systems. Additionally, Donna has been involved in selection and implementation of HRS and ERP systems.
She attended the University of North Carolina in Wilmington where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She currently resides in Wilmington, NC with her husband and two children.
Cathy Street

Cathy's background in bookkeeping and accounting began in the mid 1990's as the co-owner of a small business in NH. In 2003, she moved to Nashville, TN where she was the Founder and Executive Director of the nonprofit organization Street Theatre Company. She maintained all of the day-to-day financial operations, managed fundraising and grant writing, and was responsible for the fiscal health of the organization. And she loves to use both sides of her brain! Not only does she have a passion for numbers but she has worked professionally in the theatre arts as performer, director, producer and teacher for well over 30 years. She currently lives in Wilmington with her husband and their two cats.
Sydney Meacham
Staff Accountant
Sydney received her Master's in Accounting from UNC Wilmington in 2024. She loves working with numbers and prides herself on her attention to detail. Her favorite areas to work in are nonprofits and taxes. In her free time, she competes in equestrian sports and spends time with her two horses, Sonny and Flash, and her dog, Bandit.
Isaiah Smith
Staff Accountant
Isaiah started in accounting by obtaining an Associate’s Degree in the field before transferring to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After graduating in May 2022, he joined the team upon moving to Wilmington for the coastal life experience. He has spent his entire life in North Carolina and is from the Western part of the state near the Appalachian Mountains. In his free time, Isaiah loves to spend time outside at the beach, go hiking, and participate in sports.
Ryan Hickey, CPA
Senior Accountant
Ryan has over 15 years of experience serving trade associations and non-profit organizations. He began his career in the accounting department of a national transportation trade association. He then spent over a decade at a national health care trade association where he executed various accounting and operation functions before being promoted to Chief Financial Officer. A native of Massachusetts, Ryan spent over 20 years in Washington, DC before relocating to Wilmington.
Nadia Espinosa
Staff Accountant
Nadia is currently completing her bachelor's in accounting online through East Carolina University. A Wilmington native, she continues to call the area home, where she lives with her husband and their three rescue dogs. Before joining the team, Nadia worked as a bookkeeper for a vacation rental property management company. She enjoys the balance of analytical and creative work. While she loves working with numbers, she also spends her free time drawing, painting, doing puzzles, running, practicing Pilates, and spending time with family. When she’s not studying or working, you can find her cheering on the Carolina Hurricanes.
Melissa Davis
Staff Accountant
Melissa has over 30 years of experience in various accounting and management roles, primarily in the healthcare sector. She began her career in public accounting before moving to healthcare practice management and later became a Regional Vice-President of Operations for the entity that managed our local hospital owned practices. Her degree is from Appalachian State University in the North Carolina mountains, but is a native of Wilmington. She and her husband are passionate about their family, boating and their dog!
